Founded by microbiologist Dr. Banaz Star‑Shirko, the brand bridges rigorous science with the botanical heritage of Kurdistan one of the world’s oldest centres of herbal healing.
Our formulations are rooted in this heritage, inspired by native plants, traditional remedies, ancestral herbal knowledge, and the region’s rich biodiversity.
We create synthetic‑free, palm oil free, vegan, 100% natural (95-100)% organic, microbiome‑friendly skincare while building an education platform that makes science accessible to communities globally.

Dr Banaz Star‑Shirko, a microbiologist with expertise in genetics, immunology, and natural antimicrobial development. She holds two Master’s degrees one in Genetics and one in Medical Microbiology and a PhD in Microbiology, reflecting an academic journey shaped across international research environments. Through B Vanille, she merges scientific rigour with ethical, plant‑based innovation to create skincare that respects both the skin and the planet.
